Access for everyone

Accessibility

The Village of Peoria Heights is working to make this website usable by everyone. The redesign targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA before launch. Accessibility review and document remediation are ongoing, and this statement does not claim legal certification or perfect accessibility.

Request help or another format

If you cannot access information, need a document in another format, or encounter an accessibility problem, please contact Village Hall or call (309) 686-2385. Include the page or document you were trying to use and the format you need.

What we are doing

• Testing pages with automated and manual methods
• Improving keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, and mobile support
• Adding safeguards for images, videos, and uploaded documents
• Prioritizing current and important municipal information

Third-party services

Some tasks open services operated by other organizations. Contact the Village if one of those services creates an accessibility barrier so staff can help identify an alternative.
