See the Village from a New Perspective
Adjacent to Village Hall, Tower Park was built in 1968 and completely renovated in 2003. At its center stands a working 500,000-gallon water tower with three observation decks reached by an exterior glass elevator.
The journey rises 200 feet above Peoria Heights and the Illinois River Valley. On a clear day, visitors can see for approximately 20 miles from a structure unlike any other in the country.

History in the park
The Lincoln Monument
Tower Park is home to a bronze Abraham Lincoln monument designed by Gutzon Borglum, sculptor of Mount Rushmore. Identical works stand at Lincoln’s Tomb in Springfield and in the United States Capitol Rotunda.
