We collect only the information needed to provide Village services, respond to requests, deliver notifications, secure the website, and understand aggregate website use.

Information you provide

Forms may collect your name, contact information, service address, and message. Email notification subscriptions collect your email address and selected categories. Online Freedom of Information Act requests collect the contact, incident, delivery, and records-request details that you choose to provide.

How restricted requests are handled

Online police-records requests are stored in a restricted Village Hub workflow available only to employees who have been explicitly assigned FOIA officer access. Notification emails omit requester details and direct authorized staff back to the secure Hub.

Website activity

The website records limited first-party traffic information and security events. It does not use an outside advertising tracker.

Public records

Information submitted to the Village may be subject to applicable Illinois public-records and retention requirements. Do not submit sensitive information that is not needed for your request.
